The Regathering
Spirit filled prayer meetings /Bible studies
Archdeacon Joseph James Cordero
He is a good shepherd, He's laid down His life for His sheep so out of many nations He's gathered one fold and one faith. He has built His church on the rock foundation of faith, on apostles and prophets who shepherd the people in His place. There is one faith, one hope, and one baptism, one God and Father of all. There is one church, one body, one life in the Spirit, now given so freely to all. lyrics by John Michael Talbot, biased on Ephesians 4:4-6
We come together in the fullness of the Holy Spirit as the Body of Christ "The Church" Catholic and Protestant meeting together as the Bride of Christ. We come together in Spirit-filled prayer meeting/Bible studies and in the celabration of the Holy Eucharist. We believe we are called to grow in holiness. Growth in holiness is a progressive work of grace which leads to sanctification. Rom.6:22 Christians are called to lead a life of holiness, “Strive for peace with all men, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.” Heb.12:14 Sanctification is the work of the Holy Spirit in a believer and separation from the bondage of sin. It is freedom for obedience to Jesus Christ, freedom for walking in the Spirit, and freedom for being holy as He is holy. “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” 1Pet.1:16 "There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines. The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink." Corinthians 12: 4-12

churchoflittleflower
We are a Christ-centered, Biblically based, evangelical, spiritually vibrant, culturally sensitive, loving and caring Church which desires to live out the faith that has been received and carried on by the Church throughout the centuries. Our belief is summed up in the historical statements such as the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed. We believe in the sacraments "A sacrament is a visible sign instituted by Christ to give grace to his people". We believe in Apostolic Succession by the laying on of hands through the power of the Holy Spirit to carry on the tradition of the Church. We believe in the mystery of the presence of our Lord Jesus in the Holy Communion. The bread and wine become for us our spiritual food.

Journey’s Edge Praise You Jesus!
Oh God, I can hardly conform to the ways of this world anymore. I am longing for my home. Where does this journey take us? Your light draws me ever closer to the divine and the divine shines in the light and is the light. Light of light take me to the heights of love where we may be one. Oh light of love and passion shine on me that my journey will have meaning. This world would explode if it were to contain all the love that is within you. God of love, fire and passion draw me out of this darkness away from words that have not meaning. You who are so far from here will dawn a new day out of the light. This day will be forever without time or space and there will be no place for the night or shadows that will fall upon us. We will rise up in the twinkling of a moment and our journey will take us to the edge to the place where we will embrace. Oh morning star when the night has fallen and darkness will be no more, you will shine upon us and show us journey’s way.
