We have a new ministry-Ezra Devotional Ministry under the oversight of the Rev. John Mwaniki Gathogo, who was recently ordained a deacon of All Nations Anglican Church by Bishop Ruth Urban. The purpose of this ministry is to reach believers through the available avenues of teaching with one purpose: edifying the body of Christ. Deacon John Mwaniki Gathogo
Rev. John Mwaniki Gathogo studied theology at ICI University (now Global University). He later joined Nations University where he completed Bachelor of Religious Studies degree. After undergraduate studies, he joined Andersonville Theological Seminary for Master of Ministry program. John is currently enrolled for the Doctorate of Theology (Pastoral Leadership) at Andersonville Theological Seminary.
John started his ministry as a Sunday School Teacher at the Cathedral Church of the good Shepherd in Nakuru-Kenya. In 1975 he relocated to St Nicholas Church (then Nakuru Boys Center). At St Nicholas, John was made a Lay Leader and vice chairman of the local church. During this time he founded the Know the Bible Seminar; a teaching ministry which brought tremendous church growth. He was actively involved in Anglican Renewal Ministry in association with SOMA (UK). John taught the word of God at Youth, Mothers Union and Fathers Association seminars. He participated in teaching Pastors and Lay- leaders conferences (Organized by SOMA-UK) in Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo.
John was ordained deacon with the All Nations Anglican Church on December 06, 2009. In his passion for teaching he has founded Ezra Devotional Ministries (a teaching ministry).
